CASA CORK by David Rockwell
Salone del Mobile - Milan
Conceived and designed by Rockwell Group and led by David Rockwell, Casa Cork was a standout installation at Milan Design Week 2025.
A living laboratory for cork design innovation. Created in partnership with Cork Collective, a sustainability initiative powered by Amorim and BlueWell, the project brought the design and hospitality industries together with one shared goal: advancing cork as a powerful solution for a circular economy.
The immersive experience took visitors through a tactile journey of cork’s possibilities—from a sensory gallery and hands-on workshop to a salon space for tastings, talks, and zero-waste conversations. Custom interiors, lighting, and products were made almost entirely of recycled and upcycled cork, spotlighting the material’s unmatched sustainability potential.
Allenby Concept House was proud to be chosen as the production partner for this extraordinary initiative—supporting the vision by managing run-of-show, overseeing logistics, coordinating daily events, and ensuring flawless execution. With a deep commitment to sustainability-driven storytelling, we helped bring this ambitious experience to life on the ground.
